Step 2: Then to open the terminal, press Ctrl+Alt+T, and type the below-mentioned command.

Step 4: Finally download any of the Windows applications as “.exe” on your Chromebook.

Step 5: In your hard drive download location, right-click on a file and then select open with WINE.

Step 3: When Playstore is open, then click on the search bar and write Crossover.

Step 4: Choose CrossOver out of a list of applications and then install it.

Step 5: Before installation it is mandatory to grant permissions to access photos, media, files and record audio by pressing Accept button.

Run Windows Apps on Chromebook With CrossOver

Step 1: Launch the CrossOver application on your Chromebook.

Step 2: Type the name of application that you want to install in the Serach App box.

Step 3: Select the desired application and then click on install.

Step 4: CrossOver will fetch the program if it is available on Chromebook.

Step 5: Once you install the app, restart the CrossOver and launch the Windows App and you can now run it on your Chromebook.

If you don’t find the application in the CrossOver, you can use the following method.

Run Unlisted Windows Programs

Step1: Open CrossOver on your Chromebook.

Step2: Search for the app using the search bar. If you don’t find app in the list, click on Install Unlisted Application option.

Step3: Write the application name and click on select installer option.

Step4: Go to download location in your hard drive, where offline installer will be saved.

Step5: Click on install button, to start the installation process.

Step 6: Once installation is finished, you can launch Windows application on Chromebook.
